Learning about Homelessness

Posted

Seventh and eighth graders at Monsignor Clarke School in Wakefield recently volunteered to sleep out in near freezing temperatures November 20 to learn that homelessness comes in all shapes and sizes. Students had a modest soup supper followed by a visit from guest speaker from the Elisha Project. The following morning, the students had a modest breakfast, and spent the school day in the same clothes. The school day concluded with a Mass celebrated by Father Randolph Chew.
