PROVIDENCE — La Salle Academy high school students concluded their Lenten Twinning Campaign by sending $11,000 to their twinned Lasallian school, Rongai Agricultural and Technical Secondary School, in Kenya. The funds came from collections in homeroom each Wednesday during Lent and a special Dress Down Day. “Soup and Bread” Wednesdays also helped to raise money for the school. Each Wednesday throughout the Lenten season, faculty and staff volunteered to bring in soup and bread and colleagues contributed $5 apiece to share, resulting in nearly $350 in donations.
