The Cranston Knights of Columbus Council # 1738 took home two of the six major awards at the recent State Convention that was held May 1-3. The Knights were honored with the Community Service Award, as well as the Council Activity Award. The council was recognized not only for the charitable services that they provide, but for the monthly events and dinners that they have held. On June 1, the council will celebrate its 100th Anniversary. The event will be commemorated with a gala event that will be held at the council home.
