The Boys Junior Division 2 basketball team at Sacred Heart School in East Providence won their division championship, capping a sensational season in the Diocese of Providence Catholic Athletic League. With only six players on the team, Sacred Heart managed to be undefeated for the entire season. The team scored an average of 40 points per game.

Monsignor Clarke School’s recent win against St. Mary’s of Cranston, 29-22, earned them the Catholic Athletic League’s Girls Grammar Junior Division 2 State Championship. This was the school’s third year in a row taking part in the championship, but their first time winning it.
