PROVIDENCE — More than 900 sixth, seventh and eighth graders from 13 Catholic schools around the diocese filled the hall at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul during the Catholic Middle School Youth Conference held November 13 and 14.

The annual two-day event, sponsored by the Office of Catholic Youth Ministry, was an opportunity for the students to interact with their peers as they explore how their Catholic values can impact their everyday life. Guest speaker and full-time music missionary John Angotti traveled to Providence to speak to the students about “The Joy of the Gospel” through music and engaging activities. Avove, Angotti asks students to describe “moments of grace” they have seen in their daily lives.
