On Sept. 8, St. Rocco School in Johnston celebrated Grandparents Day by celebrating the noon Mass in their honor. Following the Mass, grandparents and “grandfriends” were invited to the school to have a complimentary photo taken with their grandchild. They also walked the school and toured the classrooms. To make the day even more special the Parent Group hosted a Touch a Truck/Food Truck event. Everyone enjoyed the variety of foods and the children especially enjoy the various trucks.
