Bishop Hendricken was blessed and honored to recently welcome grandparents to campus for their 9th annual Grandparents Day. Each year, students are invited to share their Hendricken experience with their grandparents and cherish the value of spending time together. The morning included a beautiful Mass celebrated by Hendricken president Father Robert L. Marciano ‘75, in McNally Gymnasium for the nearly 1,000 in attendance. The Mass was followed by a reception in Pepin Gymnasium, guided tours of campus, plenty of photo opportunities — and even some selfies — with smiles, laughs and full hearts. This special occasion allows the Hendricken community to honor its grandparents and thank them for the blessings, wisdom, guidance and loving support they bring to their grandsons’ lives. The event was made possible by the generosity of Hendricken alumnus, Rick Miga ‘72, and Brentwood By The Bay Assisted Living in Warwick.
