Good Shepherd students lend a hand

Students at Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School in Woonsocket raised $2,273 in this year’s loose change drive to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Student volunteers counted and rolled all donated change, and two students, fifth-grader Gracie Mumma and sixth-grader Aidan Tomaz, pictured above, were recognized for their significant donations. Mumma donated $100, and Tomaz donated $250 of his own birthday money to the cause. “I thought St. Jude’s needed it more than me,” he said.
