St. Rose student playing role of Tiny Tim in Trinity Repertory’s 'A Christmas Carol'

WARWICK — Honesto Aguinald has a great deal to be proud of. He smiled outside of his third grade classroom at St. Rose of Lima in Warwick, and shared what it’s like to play an iconic character this holiday season.
The 8 year-old is currently playing the role of Tiny Tim in Trinity Repertory’s 42nd annual production of “A Christmas Carol.”
Confidently, Aguinaldo shared with Rhode Island Catholic, that being on stage in front of the hundreds in attendance each night doesn’t give him any stagefright at all. The young actor added that he has no trouble remembering lines.
He joins familiar characters — Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future — on stage for the Rhode Island tradition. Aguinaldo and fellow cast mate Adrian Amaya will share the role — each playing Tiny Tim on specific nights.
Look for Aguinaldo and the rest of the talented cast in this year’s performances running now until Dec. 29 in Providence. This year’s Charles Dickens classic is directed by Kate Bergstrom.
