PROVIDENCE — The Diocese of Providence will host the 2018 Catholic Men’s Conference on Saturday, April 28, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul. This year’s theme is “Come Follow Me: Renewed in Christ.” The event welcomes Auxiliary Bishop Robert C. Evans, who will celebrate Mass at 8 a.m.; and also features keynote speakers Damon Owens and Jon Leonetti.
The schedule is as follows: 7 - 7:50 a.m. Registration; 8 a.m. Holy Mass; 9 a.m. Coffee an’; 9 a.m. Welcome; 9:30 a.m. Jon Leonetti “Your God is Too Boring”; 10:20 a.m. Break; 10:40 a.m. Damon Owens “A Man’s Theology of the Body”; 11:30 a.m. Lunch, Vendors, Confessions and more; 1 p.m. Jon Leonetti “Saints Alive”; 1:50 p.m. Closing Prayer; 2 p.m. Departure.
Regular admission tickets are $40; students tickets are $20; and Clergy and Seminarians are free. This event is sponsored by the Diocese of Providence Office of Faith Formation, Men of St. Joseph International & Rhode Island Knights of Columbus Councils.
