Father John Soares, pastor of St. Thomas Church on Fruit Hill Avenue in Providence and Chaplain of the St. Thomas the Apostle Knights of Columbus Council #11684, has been named the 2019 RI Knights of Columbus Chaplain of the Year. Father Soares was selected from 19 Knights of Columbus chaplains that were nominated for the award.
