Am I the only one scandalized by the picture of a priest holding a woman in a backless dress (in the newspaper’s recent coverage of the “Dancing With the Priests” fundraiser at St. Elizabeth Parish, Bristol?

Editor’s note: Rhode Island Catholic provided coverage of the fundraiser at St. Elizabeth Parish, Bristol which featured several local priests and was staged in the likeness of the popular ABC television show “Dancing With the Stars.” More than 300 parishioners were in attendance for the dinner and dance competition event, which raised needed funds to help support the parish’s annual summer festival.
