Immaculate Conception Parish, Cranston, celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the dedication of the Church on Sunday, June 24, with an Anniversary Mass. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin was the main celebrant. Following Mass, a brunch reception was held at the Crowne Plaza, Warwick. Above, Father Edward J. Wilson, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, thanked the 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee for working so very tirelessly for many months to organize such an amazing celebration. “For 50 years, our church building has been a place where thousands upon thousands of people have been blessed. May we continue to proclaim our church the House of God and the Gate of Heaven, and invite everyone to meet Jesus in here,” Father Wilson said.
