Catholic youths awarded for their conviction and courage

PROVIDENCE-YOUNG FAITHFUL: Members of Catholic Youth Ministry and the Boy and Girls Scouts of America came together on Sunday, March 11 for an awards celebration recognizing their individual and group efforts.

Click here for more photosBishop Thomas Tobin presided over the Mass and awards ceremony, which was held at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. The bishop thanked the young faithful for letting their light shine to the world. “Let’s remember that these awards are important and well deserved,” he said. “And let us remember our ultimate award is eternal life.”
