A similar resolution was offered in the Rhode Island Senate by Sen. Frank Ciccone (D-Providence). Brassard, who is committed to promoting Catholic values while helping his students achieve success, was honored for being named 2010-2011 “Distinguished Teacher of the Year" by the National Catholic Education Association.
