Camp is a creative outlet for youth

Students in Bishop Hendricken High School’s Summer Stage Workshop, a performing arts camp for boys and girls entering grades five through nine, rehearse a montage of favorite musical theater songs.

“It’s a creative outlet, but at the end of the day it’s also a really great social outlet. We try to focus on the community-building,” says Bishop Hendricken Director of the Arts Richard Sylvia, who directs the camp in conjunction with Summer Stage participants and university students Brendan McNamara and Julia Paolino.
