Being Catholic means being Pro-Life

On January 19, 2018, the 45th annual March for Life will take place in Washington, D.C., as a show of solidarity against the evil of abortion. There are many different groups of people who attend the March, including men, women and children of all ages and all walks of faith. The March was organized to protest the outdated decision of Roe V. Wade as well as make America aware of the great personal support and sacrifice of many people who defend Pro-Life issues. As Catholics, being Pro-Life means that the dignity of the human person, from the moment of conception until the moment of natural death, is to be protected. This not only means that the Church stands against abortion and euthanasia, but also condemns the use of artificial contraception and promotion of same sex marriage.

God creates and infuses an immortal soul into a child at the moment of conception as He desires that child to share with him Eternal Life. Abortion kills the child, contraception prevents the child from coming into existence, and same sex relations never allow the possibility of a child to be created. God desires to create life with the cooperation of humanity so that He may impart His blessings and eternal life to all of His children.
