St. Mary Academy - Bay View middle and upper school students raised more than $2,400 to benefit Habitat for Humanity. Dana DiMarco, executive director of Greater Providence Habitat for Humanity, came to campus to accept the donation.

Since 2001, Bay View’s Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter has assisted in the building of more than 25 homes. Bay View students invest in advocating for decent, safe, affordable housing, raising awareness through witness and fundraising. As part of the Lenten initiative, the upper school students participated in a contest to determine which class could build the best model house. The sophomore class won.
