Gabriel Project Workshop

PROVIDENCE — The diocesan Respect Life Office will hold a Gabriel Project Workshop, February 16, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence St., West Warwick. The workshop will present an overview of communication strategies and discuss ways how Gabriel Project volunteers can be effective in their parish ministry. The Gabriel project is a program that is committed to offering assistance to women and families facing a crisis pregnancy. World Marriage Day Mass

St. Brigid Lenten Program

JOHNSTON — St. Brigid Church, 1231 Plainfield St., will hold a weekly retreat day on Thursdays during Lent, beginning February 7, following morning Mass, 7:30 a.m., and evenings at 6:45 p.m. The retreats will be offered by Father William Scanlon and will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a meditation on various aspects of the Eucharist, time for personal reflection and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Chowder and clam cake supper

WOONSOCKET — St. Anthony Church, 128 Greene St., will hold a chowder and clam cake supper, February 8, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The menu will include chowder, clam cakes, coffee and dessert. Proceeds will benefit the “Keep the Heat On” campaign. For more information, call 766-2640.

St. Catherine Parish Lenten Retreat

WARWICK — St. Catherine Parish, 3252 Post Road, will sponsor a Lenten retreat, themed “Lent: A Time for Something New with God and You,” beginning February 10, 7 p.m., and concluding with Mass, February 13, 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated every morning, 9 a.m., followed by a morning session.
