Franciscan Missionaries Mass

NORTH PROVIDENCE — The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, 399 Fruit Hill Ave., will host a Mass, January 26, 9 a.m., in the Holy Family Chapel. St. John the Baptist Food Pantry

PAWTUCKET — St. John the Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Avenue, offers a food pantry during the last two full weeks of each month, Monday, 9:30-11 a.m., 6-7 P.M.; and Wednesday, 9:30-11 a.m., in the lower church. Bullying seminar

LINCOLN — St. Jude Parish, 301 Front St., will offer a seminar on bullying, Feb. 1, 7-8:30 p.m., for adults, and February 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., for students in Grades 5-10 (includes Mass, 4 p.m.) The seminars will be presented by Ray Edler, an educator and training specialist, and will address topics such as decision making, developing positive relationships and leadership skills, conflict resolution, peer pressure and understanding diversity. Providence College presents Aquinas Lecture

PROVIDENCE — Providence College, 549 River Ave., will hold the annual St. Thomas Aquinas Lecture, January 31, 3:30 p.m., in Aquinas Lounge. Dominican Father Thomas F. O’Meara, Warren Professor Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame, and Joseph McCarthy Professor at Boston College will deliver a talk entitled “New Planets, Extraterrestrials, and Thomas Aquinas’ Theology.” A reception will follow in the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies.
