Knights to host charity steak fry

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The Knights of Columbus, St. Francis Council No. 2011, will hold a steak fry, Jan. 23, 5:30-7 p.m., at the council hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road. The menu will include soup or salad, rib eye steak, potatoes, string beans almondine, rolls and butter, coffee or tea. Reservations must be made by Jan. 21. Bishop Tobin to offer retreat

PROVIDENCE — Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will direct a retreat weekend for men age 18-35 who are discerning a call to the priesthood, Jan. 15-16, from 7 p.m. on Friday to 7 p.m. on Saturday, at the Seminary of Our Lady of Providence, 485 Mt.
