St. Barnabas to host Advent concert

Songs of Advent and Faith with John Polce
FOSTER – In preparation for Christmas, St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 116A Danielson Pike, will present a concert entitled “Songs of Advent and Faith,” Dec. 16, noon, in the church. The concert will be presented by John Polce, well-known composer and musician. A free will offering will be collected to benefit North Foster Baptist Church’s repainting project. ‘Morning Inspiration for Women’
TIVERTON – St. Theresa Church, 265 Stafford Road, will offer “Morning Inspiration for Women,” Dec. 1, beginning with coffee at 8:30 a.m. Local author Genevieve Kineke will offer an Advent meditation entitled “All is Calm, All is Bright.” In light of the challenge to welcome the birth of Jesus during a season filled with stress and a full calendar, the author will offer practical wisdom in light of our faith. St. Charles to present Vatican II discussion

Providence College to present Lessons and Carols
PROVIDENCE – Providence College’s signature annual Advent celebration, An Advent Service of Lessons and Carols, will be celebrated Dec. 1, 7 p.m., in St. Dominic Chapel, One Cunningham Square.
