St. Michael Parish seeks Thanksgiving donations

PROVIDENCE – St. Michael the Archangel Church, in cooperation in Amos House, McAuley House and Crossroads, will serve a free traditional Thanksgiving dinner, Nov. 22, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., in the parish hall, 239 Oxford St. The Providence Rescue Mission will deliver meals to home bound individuals. Volunteers are needed beginning Nov. 19 to perform a variety of tasks. Monetary donations are also needed. For more information or to volunteer, call 781-7210.

Knights to sponsor steak fry

CRANSTON – The Cranston Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1738, will hold a steak fry, Nov. 17, 6:30 p.m., in the council hall, 1047 Park Ave. The menu will include steak, garden salad, potato, vegetables, bread and butter, dessert and coffee. St. Mark to hold Advent meditation concert
