Fall Bazaar to feature array of homemade goods

PAWTUCKET — Holy Family Parish, 414 South Main St., will host their annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. – noon. The event will feature games, gift certificate penny social as well as theme basket raffles. There will also be many gift booths, featuring handmade items and baked goods, local organic honey, and much more. Day of Recollection at Providence College

PROVIDENCE — The Christian Men’s Breakfast Meeting Group will hold it’s second annual Day of Recollection for men and women at Providence College on Saturday, Nov. 9. Father Robert Lacombe will be the principal speaker. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will include a continental breakfast, two talks, group discussion, lunch, reflection and an opportunity for confession. The day will conclude with Mass. Annual Walk for Life

WESTERLY — St. Pius X will hold its annual Walk for Life on Sunday, Oct. 20. The three-mile walk will begin at 1 p.m. at St. Pius Church and walkers will process through the town of Westerly, then walk to the Tomb of the Unborn at St. Sebastian’s Cemetery for a brief prayer service. The walk will end with a light reception at St. Pius Church. Sponsorship forms are available for walkers and all proceeds from the walk will benefit local pro-life community ministries. Knights to host breakfast

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The Knights of Columbus will hold a breakfast at the Council Hall, 1265 Tower Hill Road, on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. The breakfast will feature scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, home fries, baked beans, apple crisp, hot and cold cereal, juice, coffee and tea. WOONSOCKET — Precious Blood Parish, 94 Carrington Ave., will hold its ninth annual Harvest Bazaar and Craft fair. This event, co-sponsored by Catholic Financial Life-Chapter N119, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., in the church hall.
