MIDDLETOWN — All Saints STEAM Academy has been awarded a grant from the van Beuren Charitable Foundation in the amount of $86,060.
In support of its mission “to invest in the quality of life and quality of place of Aquidneck Island and surrounding communities,” the Foundation awarded the grant for fiber-optic infrastructure and device upgrades. These will support All Saints STEAM Academy as a regional hub for STEAM instruction and enhance its computer coding education for students and teachers.
Principal Anita Brouse shared that “This grant gives every child at our school the opportunity to see his or her imagination come alive with creation and innovation.”
The award will also significantly advance the school’s blended learning environment throughout each of the grades and throughout each area of the curriculum, combining embedded technology with collaborative professionalism.
