BARRINGTON – Albert P. Marcello Jr., 59, died July 2. He was the husband of Norma A. (Bizier) Marcello for 31 years, and the father of Rev. Albert P. Marcello III, assistant pastor of St. Philip Church, Greenville.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert P. Marcello Sr. and Katherine (Gelfuso) Marcello. He was a graduate of Moses Brown School and Tufts University, and was a self-employed engineer.
In addition to Father Marcello, he is survived by another son, Mark A. Marcello of Barrington; a brother, Vincent A. Marcello; and a sister, Marlene Marcello, and several nieces and nephews.
A Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated July 7 in St. Augustine Church, Providence. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
