Academy opens year with first graduating class

PROVIDENCE — The 2013-14 academic year marks the first time that St. Patrick Academy in Providence will have a full complement of high school grades, 9-12, and an enrollment of 74 students – an increase of more than 40 percent. In turn, this school year will see the Academy’s first graduating class of seniors. The 13 seniors comprising the Class of 2014 are scheduled to graduate on, June 7, 2014.

The Academy has received full accreditation as a secondary school by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Accreditation is given to high schools that meet the rigorous standards set by NEASC in thirteen areas of school performance. Colleges nationwide accept NEASC accreditation as affirmation of high school quality The mission statement of St. Patrick Academy was also revised this year.
