A Visit with St. Pius V Young Adults

Posted

Bishop Thomas J. Tobin recently visited the young adults of St. Pius V. The Bishop heard confessions, was present for Benediction and presented a talk on the Blessed Mother and the diocesan Year with Mary our Mother. St. Pius V Young Adults is a Catholic community open to anyone in their 20s and 30s. They are dedicated to the sanctification of the young adult community in the parish and Diocese of Providence and seek this through fidelity to the Magisterium of the Church, prayer, Sacramental life, community, personal faith formation, charity and apostolic initiative. The group meets every Thursday evening at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Providence, with Adoration at 7 p.m., and confessions at 8 p.m. The evening also features a speaker and discussion along with fellowship.
