Loreto Scripture study

EAST PROVIDENCE — Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 346 Waterman Ave., will sponsor a Scripture study, Oct. 16, 7-8 p.m., in the parish meeting room located next door to the church. Timothy Reid, who holds a master’s degree in theology from Providence College, will present an overview of Daniel from the Old Testament, and Revelations from the New Testament. Fatima anniversary Mass>/b>

PAWTUCKET — St. Maria Goretti Parish, 165 Power Road, will celebrate the closing of the 90th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, Oct. 12, 7 p.m. The event, sponsored by the Providence division of the World Apostolate of Fatima, will include a concelebrated Mass. Archbishop George H. Pearce will be the main celebrant. Father Robert Bailey, diocesan Spiritual Director of the organization, will concelebrate. ‘Rosary rally’

PROVIDENCE — A “rosary rally” will be held Oct. 13, noon, in Cathedral Square, in front of the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul. Diocesan priests will lead the multilingual prayer service, and will recite the rosary in several languages. Following the service, Archbishop George H. Casino trip fundraiser

EAST GREENWICH — Join the Our Lady of Mercy Council, Knights of Columbus on a Conway charter bus trip to Foxwoods Casino, October 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ticket cost includes transportation, Keno cards and a full buffet dinner. La Salette activities

ATTLEBORO, MASS. — The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, 947 Park St., holds a Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting, every second Tuesday of the month, 7:15 p.m., to pray for those in need of prayer.

The Shrine holds a Divine Mercy Holy Hour and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Wednesday, following Mass, 6:30 p.m. The Shrine church is wheelchair accessible,

St. Bartholomew anniversary Mass

PROVIDENCE — St. Bartholomew Parish, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., will celebrate its centennial with a 100th Jubilee Mass, October 21, 11:30 a.m. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will be the main concelebrant. Following Mass, a reception will be held in the parish hall.
