Position Title: Parish Business Manager
Agency/Office: Holy Apostles Church - Cranston
Work Schedule: Mon – Fri 9:00 am – 5:00 pm or as required
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for maintaining and controlling an accounting system that properly reflects the financial position of the Parish. Position serves as a resource in all aspects of accounting and ensures accurate internal and external reporting of financial transactions. Position oversees budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed asset management and more. Also serves as liaison to all vendors and oversees outside contractors.
Position Requirements:
A minimum of three years related experience in office management, a strong foundation in accounting and competency using QuickBooks is essential. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is desirable. Knowledge of parish policies and guidelines is highly beneficial.
